Anjana Sukhani

Born on December 10, 1978, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, Anjana Sukhani hails from a Sindhi Hindu family.

She completed her schooling at Kamla High School, Khar, Mumbai, and later pursued a Management Degree in International Business from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK.

Despite her academic pursuits, Sukhani was drawn towards acting and decided to put her education on hold to follow her passion.

Anjana Sukhani is known to keep her personal life private. She has a sister named Meena Sukhani, who made her debut in the movie Bachna Ae Haseeno. As for her romantic relationships, she was reportedly in a relationship with actor Rehan Khan.

Anjana Sukhani made her acting debut in the Bollywood film “Hum Dum” in 2005. She also ventured into regional cinema the same year with the Telugu film “Naa Oopiri”.

Her breakthrough came in 2007 when she played a significant role in the multi-starrer blockbuster film “Salaam-e-Ishq”.

This was followed by notable performances in films like “Golmaal Returns” and “Jai Veeru”.

Throughout her career, Sukhani has worked in various film industries including Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi, and Marathi. She was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress – Kannada for her performance in the film “Maleyali Jotheyali”.
