Liesl Laurie is a South African beauty pageant titleholder and model. She was born on 28 April 1991. Currently 24 years old. Who was crowned Miss South Africa 2015. She represented her country at the Miss World 2015 in Sanya China on the 19th December 2015. She has a Bachelor of Communications degree and became a social activist in her country. She launched her own nonprofit organization NGO in 2004 the name The Pearl Project.
The project aims at inspiring young girls, through motivational and educational workshops. In 2010 she started to compete at pageantry. She placed as the 2nd Princess of Miss Soweto 2010 and awarded as Miss Personality at the pageant. On March 29, 2015 Laurie was crowned as Miss South Africa 2015 by reigning titleholder Zipozakhe Zokufa. The Miss South Africa Pageant was held at the Sun City Super Bowl. Laurie defeated 11 other finalists during the main event.
